Signs of Spring

Can it really be? Is spring finally, truly on it's way? I have evidence that says it is! Took a walk out in the back yard yesterday and discovered the snow drops had pushed their way up through the frozen earth, their graceful, whie, oval heads shivering on slender green stems in the cool March wind. Spring is coming! Spring is coming!




Now after I took these photos and got all excited didn't I wake up this morning to find it snowing once again! Just a dusting, which although it stayed cold, did not stick around. By mid-day the sun was out and the white stuff was all gone. I ordered some Hydrangea bushes and other plants from QVC today... they will arrive at just the right planting time in May and I will be more than ready to get them in the then thawed out ground!
