For the last two weeks Sensenig's Landscaping has been constructing a resort like oasis for us in the back yard including a new, larger, waterfall & Koi pond, lighting, stone steps, walkways and seating areas around the pond. A new fountain will also be put in at the side of the house, on the blue flagstone patio under Equestrians bedroom window, between the inn and our neighbors. We kept adding things onto the project and the weather has been less than cooperative with lot's of rain and thundershowers so it's taking longer than anticipated to complete but when it's all finished it's really going to be something! In August Sensienig's will be coming back to construct the gazebo that we would like at the top of the hill next to the waterfall.
Saturday we leave on our much anticipated trip to Boston for 4 days and then Ireland until the 27th. We'll be bringing my mom and in laws with us so we are all really looking forward to it. While we are away, our good friend Mary will be taking care of things here at the inn. Four couples will be coming to celebrate anniversaries and one will be celebrating a birthday while we are away. We know that Mary will spoil them rotten and that they will be in good hands in our absence.
When we return I will post some photos from our trip to the blog!

This evening Charlie Daniels Band will be performing at the annual food & music festival, Taste of Syracuse, held around Clinton Square in downtown Syracuse, just 40 minutes from 10 Fitch. Before Daniels is expected to appear between 9-9:30 top Central New York bands will have their turn on the main stage. Of course along with the great musical entertainment there will be plenty of opportunity to sample some of Central New Yorks favorite foods & wine. Many restaurant vendors will be offering items for just $1, additional menu offerings $3 - $7
