Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 6:30 to 8:30pm, the Community Preservation Committee's (CPC's) signature fundraising event returns to Sacred Heart. What a great opportunity to eat, drink and be merry with friends and family, all while supporting the Willard Chapel.
What makes this food-and fun-fund raiser so special is the hearty participation of many chefs we know and love from our own community. Our friendly chefs will prepare and serve appetizers, soups, and desserts with a side of cheery banter! A carving station, with beer tasting by Budweiser joining long-time supporter Dr. Frank for wine tasting, rounds out the fare for the evening. A silent auction of quality goods and services adds a dash of excitement too! There will be ample informal seating for everyone. Notable People with Cayuga Connections will celebrate the lives and works of people from two different groups - those who grew up here and achieved fame and fortune elsewhere, or those who were famous and had a close connection to Cayuga County. The Geneva Historical Society will bring you the 1940s-style radio drama John Grimes: P.I. Gumshoes, dames and a tough guy named Rocco come to life complete with a sound effects table.
