Dec. 1st - Dec. 24th - The 4th Annual Festival of Trees, Ward O’Hara Agricultural Museum, 6880 East Lake Road, Auburn, NY. Come celebrate the spirit of Christmas with this Community Celebration! View a display of 60+ artfully decorated trees for the holiday season. Big trees, small trees, lit and unlit trees, modern and old fashion decorations. Museum is not heated so please dress warmly. Dec. 2nd - Dec. 4th - Holiday Shopping Spree, Cayuga Lake Wine Trail. Experience the holidays with all the hustle and bustle at our 23rd Annual Holiday Shopping Spree. You will receive a souvenir wine glass and a bottle stopper ornament from each winery. You will also take home a Shopper's Discount Card and a recipe card from each winery as you enjoy holiday-inspired dishes while sipping fine wines. Friday 1:00 - 5:00 pm at four wineries. Dec. 2nd & Dec. 3rd - Holiday Boutique, Museum of Wayne County, Lyons, NY. 10am-5pm. Artisans and crafters fill the museum for two days only. The perfect place to find gifts. Dec. 4th - Dec. 18th - Holly Trolley Rides, New York Museum of Transportation, 6393 East River Road, West Henrietta, NY. Rides operate every half-hour, starting at 11:30 a.m., and are included with admission to the museum (open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.). No reservations are required. * Santa Claus will be in attendance, greeting all the “good little girls and boys”! The only trolley railroad in New York State provides a two-mile round-trip ride, recalling another era when families rode the big trolleys from their rural homes to do their holiday shopping in the city.
